Since moving to our new Premises in Musgrave street, iAssist having been rapidly growing in sales and in staff. In business we have been getting busier each month and putting off critical growth strategies like addressing our HR systems and processes to complement our growth.

Through the Jobs Assist Program with the Department of Employment Economic Development  and Innovation, has allowed us to engage Glenn Sheppard from CQHR. Glenn was able to help us focus on getting our HR right, update and improve procedures and implement a HR System that has allowed us to employ new staff with confidence, ensuring we comply with the National Employment Standards.
As a result of working with CQHR, it now has allowed us to grow with confidence, ensuring we have the right structure and systems in place, especially when it comes to our staff.

Anne and Bill Reid – Directors – Reid Industry Group

The Reid Industry Group has experienced significant growth from acquisitions and construction projects since 2008, this has been challenging in itself. Our company has grown to nearly 200 staff in a very short period of time. In 2010 we recognised we needed to focus on our biggest asset, our staff. We have been working with Glenn from CQHR to help us in a number of key areas, including employment contracts, role descriptions for staff, policies and procedures, staff induction and most recently undertaking a STAR Workplace program. We now have an action plan for going forward to address the valuable feedback we received from staff. We would recommend the STAR Workplace for any business, not just those who are serious about listening to their staff.

Since working with CQHR, we have also have appointed a dedicated HR Coordinator who works closely with Glenn each week to keep us on track with continuing to develop our HR practices and also to gain consistency across our company in our application of staffing issues. We continue to work with Glenn and have found his service very professional. His expertise and mentoring skills have been invaluable in identifying our company’s specific needs, and focusing our attention on our immediate, short and long term goals and needs.

We have worked with Glenn from CQHR on Customer Service training for our staff. We received excellent feedback from the staff from the training and we could notice an improvement of staff in their overall performance to customer service. We have also worked with CQHR in implementing HR polices and procedures, including the training of management and staff to implement them within the workplace.

CQHR is a local business who has delivered a personal and customised service and we will continue to work with Glenn in the future.
